Soooooooo Lindsey and I had to make the tough decision as to where we were going to go yesterday. We managed to narrow it down to between the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. We weighed the bros and the cons of both and established that the SD Zoo was just too expensive for something where we could probably see the same animals back at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle...for less money too!! So Sea World it was! We got ready and off we went! It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day morning!! But more on that later...on to the pictures!! (Thank goodness that Lindsey had charged her camera the night before cause my camera was on the verge of dying all day...no worries it is charged and ready to go now!!)

The start of the dolphin show and this is ALL we lasted because at this point it started POURING down rain! We were both ill prepared for the weather and ended up absolutely drenched! At first we were like okay we are both from Seattle we were trained for this growing up I was like I want to see the dolphins...we were like OKAY we can do this!!!! And then the wind started and we were like NO WE CANT!!!!!!!!! So we decided to get out of there as fast a possible. Unfortunately it just continued to rain harder and harder with the wind blowing even more on the seemingly EVERLASTING walk back to the car!! :o[

So after we got home and all dried off we laid around relaxing for a little bit watching Criminal Minds until we had to get ready to go out with one of her friends and Lindsey's boyfriend. We got to the club all soaking wet from the walk and everything and waited inside for her boyfriend to arrive.
Unfortunately because of the rain they closed the top part of the club so the lower part that was still open reached max capacity really fast. Because of this Lindsey's boyfriend wasn't able to get in and was just going to leave. So we decided that we would rather go hang out with him at his place than be at the club especially since I was having a hard time breathing and didn't have my inhaler! (Getting SOAKED to the core probably wasn't the best idea for someone that had walking pneumonia but hopefully it won't have bad repercussions!) So we went to his house to meet up with him and his roommates. While parking by his house we noticed this guy that was absolutely FAILING at parking! Being that I just lived in Boston for the past 7 months and that I am now a phenomenal parallel parker Lindsey and I offered to help guide him into the spot. After about 4 attempts of him just sucking it up on the whole parking scheme of things he asked if one of us wanted to try. I popped in the car and one attempt and right into the spot his car went! Lindsey was watching out for me since it was some random persons car and well hitting something in it would have lets just say...SUCKED! So then off we went continuing down the street to her boyfriends house. We stayed there for a couple of hours just hanging out and watching movies with his roommates and him. Overall a great first day in San Diego. I have just had a lazy morning trying to nurse my lungs back into shape and stop coughing. I am about to go out exploring and then hang out with Lindsey when she gets off work. TOMORRRRRRRRRRRROW = DISSSSSSSSSSSSSNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o] If you cant tell I am a little excited!!!
